So after not liking Pandora charm bracelets simply because everyone seems to have them, I went and tried one on and had a look at the beads, and so now have asked for Brad to get me one for my birthday.

There is even a little anchor charm!!!

So yeah, I thought I would start a thread about Pandora ... in particular the charm bracelets

They are pretty. I like them, but don't have one. It'd be nice, but buying all the charms would be so expensive!

I'd rather get a proper old charm bracelet. Way too overpriced and not that cool.

I don't like Pandora. They look tacky to me; just not my style at all. And WAY too overpriced! Simone's mum gave her a Pandora bracelet this year with two charms to celebrate graduating uni (an apple - "apple for the teacher" - and a little book), then Paul (her boyfriend) bought her three charms for her birthday in April and it cost him over $300. For THREE CHARMS! Fuck that!

the charms only cost around $30. Paul got ripped off. SHAME PAUL.

I have one because my mum likes them so she bought me one for christmas, it's pretty but I don't usually wear it cause I can't click it on, I think I got a dodgy one.

I am a pandora convert.

Id seen them around and had no idea what the fuss is about, i didnt even know how expensive they were.

THEN. My lovely group from work bought me one for my birthday with 3 charms on it, a Present (for my birthday) a bird (because i like birds and what they represent/like my tattoo) and this pretty little silver charm with like a nice greeny coloured butterflies in it. Then a few days later i also got another charm of a suitcase (To represent the travelling).
They bought it so i can remember them overseas Smile
I bought another charm but it was CRAP so im taking it back. I spent money on this charm and it fell apart! Stupid BELLA charms.

I like good old charm bracelets, ive got one of my own with things that have meant alot to me and ive started up a travel charm bracelet with a moose, niagara falls, i heart NY, space needle ect.

BUT my pandora is gorgeous and i serisouly love it. You dont have to spend ten million dollars on a charm. I foind a charm the other day of an aussie flag which i want just for overseas!

Im not going out to fill it up straight away - all of my charms are going to mean something. I want my mate from work to buy a charm and ill get the same one.
Alady i know got one on her birthday (which is after mine) and shes already filled it up - and shes bragging about how much it costs. Whatever. Mine mens something to me and its great coz my mates bought it for me which makes it mean even more.

Soyeah. Convert. (you cant see all the charms i cant find the photo where you can!!)

My sister is obsessed with hers so now I naturally don't like them. I definately agree that old school charm bracelets are way prettier.

Although, I like when other people have a pandora bracelet and you have to buy them a present coz I can just go and buy them a pandora charm (obviously one of the cheaper ones) without too much worry.

meh.

I don't have one, Christiaan was going to get me one for chrissy but I told him I'd either loose, break or not wear it so there was no point.
I think they're cute, but I prefer regular charm bracelets.

I only like the silver charms which are the cheaper ones. I don't like gold jewellery. (unless its white gold).

I dont like regular charm bracelets. I had one and never wore it because it just wasnt me.

I think the bracelets look like the kind that might squinch up and pinch your skin or arm hairs? Do they do that?

I've got 3 bracelets (happy birthday to me)
I really like them. At the moment I've filled up a full one plus about half of my second one. But I'm going to shuffle them around so I have an earth one (green) a water (blue) and a fire (red)
And nah, they don't pinch your skin and they're basically unbreakable. Also you can get safety chains for them which look pretty and you can't lose them.

I don't really like them. At my school heaps of girls have them and it's like a mine's-bigger-than-yours status thing. Ew.

I wouldn't get one, I don't like wearing bracelets and I'm really bad with breaking/loosing jewelry.
