Okay, guys.
I really need- okay, I really want, but I REALLY REALLY WANT, a fabric covered in cupcakes/cakes.
I want to be able to see it in the flesh, so I don't really want to order online.
Does anyone know who would stock this type of thing?
Thankyou (L)

I don't know a thing about sewing or fabrics or anything, but I remember being in Spotlight once and they had a lot of different fabrics.

You probably need to find a specialty fabric store in the city, there are a few in Sydney. Most Spotlight/Lincraft stores seem to have a limited range but it's worth a shot with the larger stores. A really nice cupcake print I can think of is by Robert Kaufman.

Why do you need to see it in the flesh?

Spotlight/Lincraft usually have a few things like that. Mostly in flannel. I don't guarantee that you'll cupcakes specifically but it's worth a look.

GJ's on Bridge Road has a wide variety. But what kind of size are you looking for? Because Spotlight usually has a whole load of novelty fabrics, but theyre mostly in craft size, so theyre usually no longer than 1m in width.

Just go to heaps of different fabric stores, dude. We have about four in Whangarei with a huge selection, so I imagine Melbourne would kick our ass? Check Yellow Pages (or whatever Pages you have), make a list of fabric stores and DRIVE LIKE THE WIND! (Or catch trains like the wind, whatevs.)
